Dong Ba market is on the north bank of the Perfume River, just over the Truong Tien bridge. It has hundreds of stalls selling almost everything. Dong Ba Market provides the platform for the conventional crafts in the city. Tourists can see all the typical features of a traditional Vietnamese market, such as the sampan landing, bus station and bazaars. Dong Ba market is considered as a paradise for snapshots of daily activities as well as for shopping with everything from souvenir items to bronze goods, Hue sesame sweetmeat, conical poem hats, just to name a few.
Early Sunday mornings, villagers from various ethnic communities gather to sell their products or livestock at the market of Bac Ha, which then transforms into what may well be one of the most colourful markets in Vietnam. Many people arrive on foot, on ponies or if some are rich enough can drive motorcycles or be carried by motorbike carrier.
The Can Cau Market is Located in Si Ma Cai District, Northern Vietnam. It is a traditional market of the ethic minority people called the Red Mhongs The Red Mhongs have been living here for many generations and the market itself caters mainly for their simple needs. This is one of not many ethic markets with its traditional style, glamour and colour.
The Dongxuan market in Hanoi was officially built in the middle of 1889, possessing advantages of traffic and population.Espacially , after the construction of Long Bien Bridge by the French , the market gained its position as the bustling trading center of not only Hanoi but also the North , speedily received the afftention of tradesmen from France , Spain , India .. Along with maintaining trad-ing streets and the production of traditional handy crafts was also the home to commercial offices of the French , Chinese , India and Vietnamese tradesmen.
