Discovered and exploited late in 19th century by the French, Sapa quickly became well known for its excellent climate, breathtaking landscapes, and unique multi-ethnic culture in the north-most area of Vietnam. 2 days for Sapa is not enough to explore the unique ethnic cultures but enough for travelers to join and taste the life in the little nice highland town.

Itinerary

20:00: pickup at the hotel. Transfer to railway station for a night train LC1 at 21:00 to Sapa.

Day 1: Sapa - Cat Cat - Sin Chai

AM: 7h30 arrive in Lao Cai, pick up at Lao Cai Station then transfer to Sapa .Check in and have breakfast in the hotel .After lunch trek to Cat Cat and Sin Chai villages of Black H'mong ethnic group. Admiring the untouched beauty of Bac waterfall in Cat Cat & other sublime beauty of the scenery along the way. Back to hotel for dinner and enjoy the night in Sapa town.

Day 2: Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van

After breakfast you check out and leave your luggage at the hotel, get prepared for the downhill trek. Descend down to Lao Chai village to visit the Tay and Dzay ethnic group then pay a visit to Ta Van village, which can be regarded as the most beautiful place in the area .Have a picnic lunch enroute. Back to Sapa on motorbike/jeep .Free to get fresh with a shower at the hotel's day room before transferring down to Lao Cai Station to catch the night southward LC2 train back to Hanoi.
